National POW/MIA Recognition Day

Friday, September 20th, 2013, is National POW/MIA Recognition Day. At 1:00 there will be a ceremony in the Banquet Hall of the American Legion 321 Cooper City Florida.

The American Legion   U.S. Flag at half-staff e-mail notification. Flag at half-staff In accordance with Public Law 107-89, the President of the United States is requested to issue a proclamation (per the requirements of Flag Code section 7(m)) for the United States Flag to be displayed at half-staff for the day on Patriot Day, Wednesday, September 11.
